Tributes have been paid to Liam Thompson, who has died after a battle with cancer.
Liam, 23,?of Broughton, married his partner Alice in October in a dream wedding made possible by the generosity of local businesses and Scunthorpe Telegraph readers.
He was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, an aggressive form of bone cancer, in August 2011 and the couple brought forward their plans to marry after his health deteriorated.
Writing on social network Facebook, Alice, 21, said: "He was a real diamond and a fighter. I love you soooo much sweetheart and I hope you're not causing too much trouble up there :) rip babe I love you xxxxxxxxxx"

Sam Thornton said:? "Sorry to hear it Alice, keep your head held high and hold on to those special moments you shared together! You two were each others soul mate and it showed. xxx"
Vincent Marshall said: "I never met Liam but I know a couple of his friends and he was such a fighter.? My thoughts are with you all at this sad time."
Jamie Beacock, who was Liam's best man at his wedding, said: "Love this guy so much.? RIP mate xxxx"
